Easter Chick and Duckling Safety

Interesting and relevant post on Marler Blog: Easter Safety. Bill Marler reminded his readers of the October 2011 Salmonella Altona outbreak in 20 states that was linked to contact with chicks, chickens, ducklings, ducks, geese, and turkeys. As with all animals, it’s important to remember to wash your hands after handling them; this includes bunnies too.
